Fred King

Fred grew up in Oklahoma and Texas and received his B.A. degree in design from Texas Tech University in 1975. He started his career at Fidelity Printing Company (Chas P. Young), where he served as a graphic designer working on over 20 annual reports a year. Since then, he has worked as an art director for Michael Strickland & Company designing environmental graphics and for Diane Butler Studio handling Weingarten Realty’s annual report and Conoco’s recruiting brochure. Fred was vice president-creative director at Baxter+Korge and handled corporate identity programs for The Methodist Hospital and Energas, as well as annual reports for Geosource, Houston Natural Gas and Energas.
